Mission
The Community Leadership Academy & Emergency Response Project (CLAER) helps people traumatized by violence move beyond victimization to healing. From victimization to action!
CLAER is a project that addresses issues of economic, political, and social disparity. Employing a unique model merging public policy development, community capacity building, and direct services, CLAER engages and empowers low-income residents and neighborhoods to shape and define a greater voice in public policy, upward mobility, and general quality-of-life issues.
